Dear reader, the reason you’re holding this humble collection is because I am hoping to use an invention of mine towards bridging our divides. The “haikuntrapuntal” is a merging of two established poetic forms: the haiku and the contrapuntal.

Dear reader, you are familiar with abyss. You scream and whisper across it, and you're never heard, and you never hear. I offer you the haikuntrapuntal bridge as a way to heal; as a way to meet whoever you’re opposing and hear them out, at last. Cross the bridge, dear reader.
